The four mistakes we see most often are weak bank solvency, an unexplained study gap, a generic SOP and applying too late. Each one can be fixed before you apply.

A large deposit made just before applying, with no proof of where it came from, makes embassies doubt the funds. Keep the money in the account early and document its source. Rules differ by country: Finland needs at least €800 a month (€9,600 for a year) in your own account, while the Italian Embassy in Dhaka accepts your parents as sponsors, with 12 months of bank statements.
A gap after HSC or a Bachelor's does not stop most applications, but an unexplained one does raise questions. Cover every year with documents, such as a job letter, course certificates or medical papers.
Admissions staff recognise copied statements of purpose. Yours should explain, in your own words, why this course, why this country and what you plan to do after graduating.
Visa steps from Bangladesh take time. Finland needs about 45 working days to verify Bangladeshi documents at VFS New Delhi, and the Italian Embassy in Dhaka's last day for 2026/27 pre-enrolment student visa applications is 30 November 2026. We suggest starting about a year before your intake.
Bangladesh is a Stipendium Hungaricum partner country: the scholarship covers tuition and pays HUF 43,700 a month. Türkiye Scholarships pays 4,500 TL a month for a Bachelor's and 6,500 TL for a Master's.

Each country runs its own process. Italian, Norwegian and Greek student visa files are submitted in Dhaka, while Finland applicants verify their identity and documents at VFS New Delhi.
